Wetzsteinareal Hegaustrasse

The planning area is located next to the pedestrian zone of the center of Singen. The intervention creates a transition from the commercial areas in the center to the quieter residential streets.
The proposal for the Wetzsteinareal is based on the existing rhythm of buildings and spaces of the Hegaustrasse. The Wetzsteinvilla is boosted by the addition of a new backside villa according to the same rhythm. On the left part of the Wetzsteinvilla (West), a small playground has been introduced which is flanked by a new residential building on the corner.
